Mild detergent and hot water are not always enough to clean baffle filters. So, you can use caustic soda or sodium hydroxide to clear these filters. But this method could be dangerous as the chemical is highly corrosive and it’s flames are harmful. Use gloves and other protective clothing while handling such chemicals.
